Nice Things

Hi all, a nice thing happened today. I took my recently purchased home theatre system back to Dick Smith Electronics because it had stopped working. The store manager swopped over the machine right there and then. I thought that was pretty good customer service as I was told on the phone by Philips it would have to be sent in to assess the issue and then fix it.

Then he offered me a $20.00 refund so we could replace the kids movie that was stuck in it!! Isn't that nice!!! Good on you Dick Smith!!

Greg Natale

Check out the Royal Pine Resort designed by Greg Natale and Sunland. Based on Hollywood Regency with its bling and graphic pattern. There is an unmistakable retro vibe happening in there too.
Fabulous layers of Navy and Gold and the addition of Jonathan Adler furniture make these rooms sing!! I love it, but then I love everything Greg Natale designs!!!!

Favorite Room for Today

Hi ya, I'm sneaking in a quick blog post while the kids are in the bath and trying to watch Neighbours at the same time ha ha. Now no sooner do I start this than my little boy is calling out for me to come and get him!!!

So I'll make this quick. I came across this gorgeous room or rather corner of a room a few weeks ago. I'm just loving the breezy color scheme (even though it's winter and I should be hankering for cosy) and the fabulous texture. Isnt that desk divine!!!!

Beautiful Bedrooms

Happy Wednesday, this is the second time I have tried to write this post. So apologies If the other one somehow got posted without me realizing. I'm really enjoying blogging on the iPad, but oh my goodness the fights with the kids over it are mad!!

Favourite Room for Today

Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I hosted my 40th birthday party at home here. It was a fabulous evening! Except of course for my hangover on Sunday.

All recovered now and back to normal. I was searching through my blogs tonight and came across these beautiful rooms by Atlanta based Interior Designer, Melanie Turner. Aren't they stunning. I especially love the room with those grey doors and their cross detail. The seating arrangement looks so inviting and the pop of color in the abstract painting is just beautiful.

Favorite Room for Today

Hi there, a quick little post tonight before the weekend. I like the idea of blogging on the iPad. The only thing I don't like is the 2 year old little boy hanging off me and screaming to do the iPad!! Then right as I type now on the other side of me is a pug who won't sit still and is trying to get on my knee so he can chew his toy.

Oh my goodness, the joys of children and animals and all at the same time. Don't you just love it.

Posting from my new IPad

Hi everyone, I have just set myself up to start posting my blog from my new IPad. I really hope this works!!! I have already tried a couple of times to do this and got a fail. So tonight I did some research and discovered a blogging app. I'm still not real sure what I'm doing, so this is a practice run.
