Pretty Pastels
Hi, Isn't this little chair and chest of drawers just gorgeous? I love the Art Deco inspired mirror and the whole vibe of this pretty little corner. The way they have tempered the pastels with the black and white rug - really grounding the space, but still relating back to the scheme with the little flowers all through the rug. Perfect!! Do you like it?

Today's Favourite Room
Hi there, looking at pendants tonight for a couple of jobs and this room caught my eye. Notice how low the pendants are hanging. Is that really groovy? or would it just be annoying?? Loving the colours though - pops of yellow and that mix of rustic with shiny. (hoping the Moose is not the real deal though).
Sorry image source unknown - please advise if you know who the designer is so I can amend the details. Thanks, Jodie |

Sally Campbell's Randwick Home
Hi everyone, I have come across this beautiful home on 'The Design Files' blog. It belongs to Sally Campbell and her husband Greg. Sally is a textile designer and owner of Sally Campbell Handmade Textiles. It's quite a stunning home, as Lucy of 'The Design Files Blog' describes it "as a very special home, with a luscious, lived in feel" It is certainly stunning, but totally unpretentious - a real home. Let me know what you think - I covet every inch of it.

I love the look of painted white spindles with the black hand rail and black stair tread. There is an image below with some gorgeous spindles painted in blues and greens. It's absoloutely beautiful - I wonder if this might be my new favourite. How about you? do you have a favourite?

Kitchens
Hi there, I'm collecting a few kitchen ideas for a current client - so thought I would share what I have come across. I'm a big fan of the more traditional kitchen. I love the shaker style door profile and tiled splashbacks in a brick pattern for texture. I'm also a fan of really modern kitchens in very traditonal homes/spaces. I love the juxtaposition of the sleek streamlined surfaces against the ornate architecture of a historic home. How about you? do you prefer a traditional style kitchen over the sleek modern look? Or a bit of both???
