One More Panton Chair

Hi, just came across this image whilst looking for fireplaces. It's stunning, so I had to share it. The play of colours is fabulous and the curves of the Panton Chair married with the curves of that lamp are just wow!! Do you like it?

Panton Chair

The Panton Chair is recognised as a classic of modern furniture design. It was designed by Verner Panton around 1963 - he worked in collaboration with the Vitra Furniture Company to finally release the chair to the public in 1967.

It's quite an incredible chair moulded from one piece of plastic - very sensuous and curvy. It looks fabulous in so many different decorating styles. I use my replica fake versions outside paired with an old timber outdoor table. I love the contrast of the sleek, white chairs with the old rustic timber. What do you think? Would they work in your home?

Today's Favourite Room

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on my cow hide dilema. I have ordered a black and white one today. Can't wait for it to arrive and not feeling guilty at all.

Today's images is a fabulous retro inspired kitchen diner. I'm absolutely sure this room is by Steven Gambrel. I hope I'm right. If not, please let me know so I can credit the photo accordingly

Cow Hide

Hi there, happy Monday!!  This is an unusual post for me to do on Cow Hide in interiors. I'm a vegetarian and I prefer my cow hide on the actual cow. However, everytime I come across an interior shot featuring cow hide it stops me in my tracks. I nearly bought a cow hide ottoman last week and then had second thoughts. Speaking to one of my suppliers the other week too was interesting. His take on using a cow hide "well if we don't use them they are only going to go to waste or end up in land fill". What are you thoughts? Would you use a cow hide in your home?

Happy Weekend

Hi everyone, hoping you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm sharing photos of Brooke Shields New York home with you tonight. I love the mix of old and new - it looks really comfortable, not stuffy or over the top. The stairs in the entry look great in the black and white and I'm loving the blue and white vases under the console table. What do you think?

Some Rooms I'm Loving Today

Hi for tonight's post I thought I would just share a mixed bag of rooms that appeal to me right now. So many ideas, images, rooms come across my desk everyday. What I'm loving can change from one day to the next. Are there any common threads you notice in these different rooms? One things for sure - I'm definately not a minimalist!!
