Happy Monday everyone!! Hope you had a great weekend. I am doing a post on fireplaces tonight. I know Summer is barely over - and we didn't even get a great one. So I'm not thinking so much of cosying up - more about styling your fireplace - what to do with a mantle. Mirrors over vs Artwork over. British Vogue

I just had to share these photos with you tonight that I came across on Habitually Chic Blog. They were shot by photographer Mario Testino for British Vogue magazine. This is not usually my sort of thing - but I just couldn't go past it. The background interiors are absolutely incredible!! Not only that, I actually like the model too. The clothes are just so retro glam!! they are out of this world. Very luscious indeed!! The Interior Designer is Lorenzo Castillo - make sure you check him out. His work is stunning.

Retro Mania

Hi ya - Friday night at home snuggled up under my laptop and there is no place I would rather be. What a mad week!! It's been great though - lots of exciting things happening. The Daily Telegraph came to photograph one of my clients homes on Tuesday. A big thank you to my darling client who cleaned her little heart out for 2 days to get ready for them!! It is a huge job to get a home ready for a photo shoot - I am very grateful. Can't wait to see it in print.

Here's a few more retro inspired rooms to share with you. I love the effortless look and the lived in appeal they have. There is definately something very appealing about a retro room. What do you think? Are you a retro fan?
