Caringbah Makeover

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while. It's been a bit hectic here lately. I'm also having issues with my photo sizes and clarity when I use the Ipad for blogging. Which is a bit of a shame as it's so convenient to sneak in a blog while you're watching telly. So I think it's better to keep blogging on the desktop or laptop so I can share the better quality photos.

Here's some pics of a makeover I recently completed for a client in Caringbah. I love the mix of vintage and modern pieces. The pops of colour work really well too in the main living room, especially the orange cushions on the grey vintage armchairs (chairs are from Ruby Star Traders). Cushions are courtesy of Bandhini and MRD.

Hi Everyone, I just discovered this gorgeous home on House of Turquoise's blog tonight. I seem to love anything pretty much that is featured in Atlanta Homes Magazine. John Oetgen is an Atlanta designer. Check out more of his work here www.oetgendesign.com

I love the simplicity of this design and the lived in look he has achieved. It doesn't look at all pretentious - just very inviting and comfortable. Check it out for yourself.

Happy Wednesday

Hi there, I spent some time zhushing cushions today at one of my dear clients homes. It's slowly coming together. I picked up all the artwork today too and our gorgeous custom painted bedside tables. So just a few more finishing touches to go and we are on the home stretch. Yaahhhh.

Favourite Room for Today

Hi everyone, I was searching for inspiration tonight for a new job and came across this lovely dining room on Desire to Inspire's Blog. I'm loving the yellow chairs with the rustic table and the beautiful shape of the pendant light. It's a really inviting space that I would love to spend some time in. Do you like it?

Hampton's House

Hi all, I came across this gorgeous Hampton's House on House of Turquoise's blog tonight. The actual house was designed by Historical Concepts inGeorgia and the interior design is by Steven Gambrel. I love his work, he is one of my all time favourites. I love the fun colours in this home. It's so relaxed and casual, but so beautifully designed and elegant at the same time.
