Hi Everyone, it's blowing a gale in Sydney tonight. I can hear the wind whistling all around. Its nice to be inside and comfy just listening to some music (the Bee Gee's are on today) and playing around with my blog and doing a bit of work. I wanted to post these pretty images tonight. They all appealed to me with thier beautiful wallpaper and complimentary accessories. Unfortunately I do not have the original photo source available. So if you know where they are from please let me know.
Have a great weekend!

Cocktails Anyone?
What a lovely space to prepare a drink. Isn't this cute? I love the texture in the grasscloth wallpaper and the little starbursts on the wall. They are so perfect with the gold bamboo drinks trolley. Cheers!

Blue and White Office
Good afternoon, Happy Monday everyone. I came across this lovely blue and white office while I was searching for kitchen inspiration today. Somehow this one had snuck into my kitchen file. I love the simplicity of this room. The juxtaposition of antique chair with ultra modern, minamalist glass desk is perfect. It is set off beautifully with the mix of lovely soft blues in all the accessories and the upholstery on the chair. Just gorgeous!

Greystone Mansion Show House 2012
I was watching my favourite show last night 'Million Dollar Decorators'. My darling Martyn, Mary and Kathryn were asked to decorate rooms for the Greystone Mansion Show House. Wow!! Incredible results I thought. Unfortunately my least favourite was Kathryn's room kitchen - it certainly looked lived in, but it just didnt wow me. I have to say Martyn and Mary's were the best. I love the 'Over the top' look - lots of layers and accessories really do it for me.

Butterfly's in the Bedroom
Hi all, after a busy day running around after kids and then catching up on work tonight - I would really rather like to be in bed now. I found this lovely bedroom on House of Turquoise. I love it's quirky style and the rustic bed. It looks very peaceful and welcoming.
And so with that - its off to bed. Good night x

Nantucket Hotel
Hi there, I came across this wonderful boutique hotel on my favourite blog - House of Turquoise. I'm in love with the bold colours and patterns. I think it looks incredible. What a fabulous hotel - not very hotelish at all is it? Its fun and funky with lots of great ideas your could use at home. It has a mainly neutral background (except the wallpaper in the dining room) with lots of splashes of bold colour.

Favourite Images for Today
Happy Saturday everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely day. The weather in Sydney has been just perfect today. I have even been in the pool twice with the kids - which is a bit of a miracle for me.
Here are my favourite images inspiring me today. I'm working on a colour scheme for a beach house in Port Macquarie at the moment. So I'm really feeling the relaxed, casaul vibe of these images - not to mention the lovely watery and light colour schemes. What do you think?

A study in Neutrals
Happy New Year everyone. I must apologise for being so lax and not having spent any time working on my blog since November last year. That is terrible. It got so busy with the last minute work rush before Christmas - not to mention the person Christmas rush to make a memorable Christmas for my 3 kids. So I'm back on deck and ready to get stuck into it all again.
Here is a beautiful Master Bedroom I found on VT Interiors Blog last year. It was designed by Lichten Craig Architects. A Chicago Based Firm. I love how serene and welcoming the room feels. Its really quiet ethereal - but the darker grey in the drapes gives it a little bit of oomph. I'm not sure if the walls are really clad in stone or if its a stone lookalike wallpaper. I must look it up. Its gorgeous though!!

Caringbah Makeover
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while. It's been a bit hectic here lately. I'm also having issues with my photo sizes and clarity when I use the Ipad for blogging. Which is a bit of a shame as it's so convenient to sneak in a blog while you're watching telly. So I think it's better to keep blogging on the desktop or laptop so I can share the better quality photos.
Here's some pics of a makeover I recently completed for a client in Caringbah. I love the mix of vintage and modern pieces. The pops of colour work really well too in the main living room, especially the orange cushions on the grey vintage armchairs (chairs are from Ruby Star Traders). Cushions are courtesy of Bandhini and MRD.
